Chief Executive Officer
Aidan has 25 years of experience managing the design and implementation of both fixed and wireless telecoms solutions. Starting as an engineer, he progressed to senior leadership roles in private businesses and PLCs, overseeing day-to-day operations and M&A activities. Aidan has successfully led projects for a diverse range of organizations, including SMEs, large corporations, and local governments. While delivering multi-million-pound projects, he prioritizes ensuring a return on investment for end-users. At SmartWorkPlus, our guiding principle is to design solutions that are implemented at 'no cost or less' to the customer, aligning with Aidan's commitment to customer value.
Adrian Warner
Chief Product Officer
Adrian, an experienced facilities professional, has been at the forefront of outsourcing for the past 30 years, including 14 years at the Director level. His expertise lies in working with facilities owned by renowned global brands and high-profile government agencies, covering a wide range of total facilities and niche services. With a track record of leading multidisciplinary teams, Adrian has collaborated with both large PLCs and smaller privately owned enterprises, crafting sophisticated facilities-related solutions across the UK, Ireland, and Europe. At SmartWorkPlus, Adrian's role focuses on ensuring the company designs and delivers relevant, innovative solutions that yield tangible and measurable benefits.
Shane Brady
Chief Operating Officer
Shane brings valuable expertise to the Facilities Management (FM) industry, with a career spanning since 2016 and over 5 years of experience in solution analysis and development. In 2020, he further enhanced his qualifications by achieving post-graduate credentials in Data Science, and he is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in IoT from the University of Ulster. Shane's primary focus revolves around bridging the gap between FM's business requirements and the possibilities offered by the latest advancements in IoT and Big Data analysis. By integrating cutting-edge product management methodologies, Shane ensures that SmartWorkPlus generates services and insights that truly deliver significant value to our clients.
Colin Mallon
Lead Software Engineer
Colin has had a lifelong interest in IT and technology and after graduating with an MSc in Chemical Engineering, he spent the early years of his career in the Fintech industry. He has developed a flair for all things IoT and progressed to become a qualified IoT specialist before joining the team at SmartWorkPlus. In his role, he working on developing the SmartWorkPlus embedded system and has a great understanding of IoT security best practices. He creates leading edge IoT solutions for the Facilities Management industry, taking concepts and visions and making them reality. Colin helps deliver and improve the performance, efficiency and user experience of the SmartWorkPlus system.

Shane Melaugh
Software Engineer
As a graduate from Ulster University with a BSc Hons in Interactive Multimedia Design, Shane has established a strong foundation in the field of technology and design. Shane's professional journey includes experience in the Cybersecurity, DevSecOps, and AI Digital Out-Of-Home Advertising startups, one of which went public and the other reaching a sale stage. With several years of experience, Shane has skills in building modern web applications and front-end software solutions, as well as a keen interest in UX and Product Design. This combination of technical know-how and an eye for user experience enables Shane to create compelling and user-friendly digital solutions.
